Photo: Photogapher, Staff Q. I am using Windows 7 and prefer Chrome as my browser, but I can't install Adobe Flash Player so I can't play videos in Chrome. When I try to download Flash Player I get a window beneath the file that says Failed insufficient permissions. I am an administrator on my PC so I should have all the permissions I need. How can I fix this? It appears that the default download folder Chrome is trying to save files to is restricted in some way. This could be because you have specified a non-standard folder, perhaps a system folder, as your download location.

I would suggest changing the download location to either your desktop or your download folder. Some people prefer the Download folder, but I tend to save to my desktop as it makes the files easier to find.
